The darkest episode.

I know there were a lot of seasons but I was just wondering what people thought were the darkest/grimmest episodes and what about said episode/episodes stood with you?

reply

The darkest episodes for me would be :

Badge, Magnificat and To The Bone : Because of the murders of young children in each.

Family Values : That episode had a horror movie like feel with the insane and creepy religious fanatic but I liked it a lot as well in a horror movie like way, very creepy.

Death Roe : Where the chef puts his son in law through the meat grinder and also murders another innocent person so his daughter won't get pregnant and he can keep molesting her, that was horrifying and creepy.

Not the darkest but definitely macabre, the episode where the mob hit man harvested DNA from the mass grave behind the crematory.

Loved the way Goren snared the incredibly cunning, control-freak perp!

blunetto, don't even engage with whinehammer, just look at his profile, if you upset him he will forum stalk you.

whinehammer, you wanna play psycho stalker, crybaby, that's a two way street, you won't be able to post anywhere without other members knowing you are nothing but a pathetic stalker.

Now when you're bawling your eyes out, remember it was you who started this childish forum stalking game. See you in the next forum you post, ahole. 

No mention of Homo Homini Lupus? I can't even watch that episode, because the scene where you can hear the daughter being raped in the other room is just disturbing.

reply

That is quite a disturbing scene, however that episode is one of the only CI episodes that didn't have a murder in it, so it isn't as disturbing as say, To The Bone, Magnificat and Badge, which all had young children murdered in cold blood, or an episode like Death Roe with its gruesome murders to cover up incest.

reply

Surprised that no one has mentioned Slither.

Michael York has been a solid actor for decades and his turn as the leader (pimp?) of a group of serial murdering women is one of the most chilling in the series history.

Bad films are a crime against humanity.

Any of the episodes with Olivia d'Abo (Nicole Wallace/Elizabeth Hitchens) in them. Every time that woman opens her mouth the temperature in the room drops by at least twenty degrees.

Oh God. There's nothing more inconvenient than an old queen with a head cold!
