I would go more Lizzie McGuire...i grew up watching this show and can defiantly relate to it more. At least at that age. and miley cyrus is pretty annoying. what about you guys?
Buster: No mother, I can blow myself. You've interfered for the last time.
I dont find her annoying at all - I thought Lizzie was whinier and dorky. She was also an idiot for going for Ethan when Gordo was always there for her.
At least Miley/Hannah gets her guy, plus she can sing a lot better than Hilary.
Well, Gordo had been her best friend since she was basically a baby, so I'm sure it never occurred to her to date him. A lot of the time it's hard to differentiate between platonic love and romantic love, especially concerning a best friend (believe me, I'd know...).
And yeah, Miley/Hannah can sing, but Hannah Montana is ABOUT a pop star. Lizzie McGuire isn't. Whether she can sing or not shouldn't have anything to do with the superiority of the show.
"Bye, Harry!" said Hermione, and she [...] kissed him on the cheek.
Lizzie was madly in love when she was 11 or something if I recall correctly. It is addressed in the episode where Gordo is working with a big director at school.
To this day Lizzie McGuire remains the far more superior show. I watched the pilot episode for Hannah Montana and havent been able to sit through another one since. I never saw a Disney show make such a desperate attempt to cram in so many annoying characters who serve no purpose!!
****** Late night jengajam! Social graces! Late night jengajam! Settin' up shop!
Lizzie McGuire I prefer Hilary's acting Also because i grew up watching this show as a teenager it helped me Also love it more because i can relate to it more than Hannah Montana
Diamond friends forever Goodtimes rain more than ever My Friends stand under my umbrella
I disagree about the characters in "Hannah Montana". Though that show is flawed in many ways, it's not flawed in terms of it's characters, which are actually the strength of the show. They're pretty charismatic and likeable. Jackson is overracting many times, but he's still adorable, as with Oliver and Lilly. Even Billy Ray Cyrus had his moments (before I started to despise that jerk). The characters actually saves this show.
I do agree though that many of the secondary characters (Roxy, Amber, Ashley) are annoying.
I grew up watching it also. To me, it never gets old. I could watch all the episodes now and never get bored of them... But, there is no way. They never show them anymore! *Sigh*
I think if you grew up watching it, you're gonna like it better than the new shows.
I guess I, too, "grew up" watching it. But I never liked it all that much. If I HAD to watch one or the other, I'd go with Hannah Montana. Mostly because Hilary Duff was a bad actor back in the day, and her squealing bothered the hell outta me.
i grew up watching this show too and i think if i had to choose i would choose Lizzie mcGuire i like hannah montana but miley tends to overact and lizzie mcguire will always be disneys superior show. i still watch them and none of them evr get old
I say LM, at least that had Lalaine, the best on in that show, HM is overacted and annoying. I prefer Amanda Byne to Miley, Amanda is at least actually funny. But if were talking all these shows, Degrassi's the best for me, though the old degrassi was better.
"PPl think Ipods r good but anything dat can hold ova 10000 songs of Britney spears must b Evil"
Lizzie Mcguire by a long shot. they had real issues that people where actually going through Lizzie was a character that felt so real evryone knows the girl thats always falling & gets along pretty decent with her mom.
nobody can relate to hannah montana how many of you have a double life as a popstar? not mee, thats fer sher.
all; "Hey were the Jonas Brothers!" nick; "No. thats too boy bandish"
at the time i loved lizzie mcguire, but i love hannah montana so much more than i ever loved lizzie mcguire, hannah montana is more my type of humour, i think emily osment and miley cyrus are great in the show.
There two different shows. Hannah Montana is a situational comedy and Lizzie was a tv series. "Life with and Derek" and "Phil of the Future" are more like Lizzie Mcguire. Hannah Montana is more like "Family Matters" and "Boy Meets World". I like both they each offer something the other don't.
I agree. Hannah Montana is more like 'Drake and Josh' and 'Wizards of Waverly Place'. While Lizzie McGuire is more like 'Zoey 101' and 'Phil of the Future'.
Why? Well because Lizzie McGuire allows you to choose what's funny while Hannah Montana tells you what's funny [even when it's not]. So it's really up to the indivisual. Some people like laughtrack while some people don't.
