I couldn't even tell if this movie was supposed to be a joke. Are we truly supposed to be rooting for her to reach the top of being a stewardess? If this movie was indeed supposed to be a joke(please god) then the sarcasm wasn't very apparent.

I have to agree that this film was not very funny, the script just wasn't that good. Also they used some rather cheesy remakes of songs, too cheap to license the originals? But I've seen a lot of films that are worse then this and they did have some decent actors even though they weren't used as well as they could have been.
Seems to me at the end of the film they showed some of the out takes, some of those would have been better left in.
I liked the film, laughed a lot and didnt find it boring. Sure it might have been a bit slow to start but its not the only film that is.
I loved the ending when she was making the arrival speech as the plane was landing and she ended with "If cleveland is your final destination...... Welcome Home" just made me smile.
Also the bloopers after the very first one where she says "This is bull ass" and mike says "you wanna know whats bull ass EYE EXAM" and she gives the cutest laugh as she slides down and he just says "You can't keep laughing at that" I have watched that section so many times I have lost count.
