I'm honestly at a loss here. I can't fathom how 33.9% of the people who rated this on IMDb gave it higher than a 7. I hated it when I saw it in theaters and finally re-watched it last night, thinking "maybe it wasn't as bad as I remembered".

I'm not looking to insult anyone, I just want to find out what the people who liked it liked about it. I honestly can't find anything enjoyable, except maybe the poor editing choice of cutting to a cow mooing in the middle of Nicolas Cage & Eva Mendes' kiss scene. That and Sam Elliot.

I agree with OP. Bad acting, bad dialog, bad plot. I laughed at lots of the scenes.

1. My favorite characters coming out of the Marvel corner are Ghost Rider, Spawn and Sleepwalker

2. I value Nicholas Cage very high as actor, done alot of cool stuff, a whole bunch of not so of course.

So combine the two and it already is a reason to like the movie and forgive the cheapness of it all. This movie will only appeal to people who like ghost rider the comics and like to watch Nicholas Cage on screen. If you dont like or dont know one of the two, i can only imagine how bad this movie must feel like.

I liked it. Sure it's not the amongst the best movies I've seen, nor will I remember much of the story later, but it was really really fun to watch. Plus it made me laugh a couple of times. Not like it's sequel, though, that one really sucked.

The first one however is better than both Avengers.
