Any movie by Ridley Scott is a safe bet...

Last of the Mohicans, Braveheart, No Country for Old Men, Dances with Wolves. Basically any violent Oscar worthy film prominently featuring war, mountains, valleys, and open fields.

This is not the movie the comes to mind first, but its very well done.

This movie is a masterclass on cinematography by one of the best cinamtographers of all time. I always liked Apocalypto for this category as well
