House of 100 Corpses or Devils Rejects?

Whats your favourite?

I wasn't particularly a fan of this movie, but thought Devils Rejects was great. So its the Devils Rejects for me.

I started this same thread on the Devils Rejects board n the majority went for The Devils Rejects. But a poster happened to mention that they thought if the same thread was put on here then House of 1000 Corpses would get the majority vote.

Just thought i'd put it to the test.

Hail Hail

I think Devils Reject was the only horror movie where I was rooting for the 'protagonists' (the fireflys in this case) to survive/win etc. Most of the time I get so annoyed with the victims that I can't help but hope for them to die. The torture scene in Devils Reject really got to me (though I think they could have upped the torture) and I was really hoping the fireflies would get away even though i knew they were so dead.

imo devils rejects is better because they learn their lesson, justice is served, in hoatc it was just horrible things, happening to innocent people, for no reason.
hoatc is stupid for the most part, no story, all the characters are the same, only reason to watch it is if you're one of those people who think gore makes a good movie.
devils rejects is better, more of a story, bill moseley is better, without spoiling anythings I'll just say that, the movie shows that when you get revenge, it's not always as enjoyable as you might think, and can make you crazy.

The Devil's Rejects. Love 'em both though.

HO1KC for me although I grew to really like TDR after a couple more viewing. I hadn't heard anything about HO1KC beforehand so I went in withouth any preconceived notions. The opening scene at the gas station had me hooked right away.

They are BOTH EQUALLY my favorite movies! So different but there's that connection and cohesion. I don't know if it was intentional by Mr. Zombie (because they are so different) but I personally think they work together beautifully! I love how the first is overly comical and almost cartoony and rejects is more somber, serious, and sad...because we lose our beloved killers. =(

I'm so adjective I verb nouns!

This is my favorite movie of all time. HO1KC

I own both movies on DVD, they are quite enjoyable! I also got to see TDR when it hit theaters during the summer of '05. Many people in the audience were so shocked and offended by the disturbing content that they actually got up and left (mainly at the motel scene). I prefer that over HO1C, considering that the Firefly family finally receives their comeuppance. Also, William Forsythe (as Sheriff John Wydell) was bada$$!

William Forsythe has had some cool roles over the years but Sheriff Wydell was absolutely perfect for him. Complete bada$$.

House, definitely.
I just didn't think Devil's Rejects was as fun of a movie. It was more of an action/western. I liked it, but House is probably my favorite horror movie of all time.

I like both but I think I like House of 1000 Corpses better. I guess I just like it better visually. THere are a lot of cool looking scenes and also cool music. But I like both.
