What's your all time favorite animated film?

anything from pixar to anime to classic disney, what is you favorite animated film?

It would be one of Rene Laloux's hypnotic and marvelously drawn movies. " Fantastic Planet " and " Time Masters " in particular.

You know what you are? You're the son of a thousand fathers. All bastards like you.

Several by Hayao Miyazaki.
Castle in the Sky
Princess Mononoke
Howl's Moving Castle
and I like Spirited Away probably the best out of his films. I also like all his other works I've seen. Akira was good when I saw it (early 90s) I love a lot of pixar, dreamworks anime, Blue Sky and of course Disney.

oh and Grave of the Fireflies was one of the best anime shows.

I've always loved anything by Pixar and currently working my way through the Ghibli films. Absolutely loved 'Spirited Away' and 'Castle in the Sky'. 'Ponyo' was great as well.

Regarding 'classic Disney' films, my favourite would probably be 'The Lion King', but as a kid I really enjoyed 'Hercules' as well.

Other notable mentions would be 'Fantastic Mr. Fox', which is absolutely brilliant and some of Aardmans work. 'Flushed Away' is criminally underrated, I found it hilarious.

and a COKE.... I'm sorted

the best animated film in my opinion would be Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen or Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal or Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal (1999). I know it's an OVA but later it released as a 2 hrs feature film.

The most amazing piece of animation ever created. Superb story, amazing animation, and incredible voice cast. UP, Spirited Away, Wall-E, Toy Story 3, Tokyo Godfathers, and Summer Wars follow closely from behind.

I am a huge fan of Pixar animated films. I did like Coraline. I also liked the Ice Age movie series: Ice Age, Ice Age the Meltdown, Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs, and Ice Age Continental Drift. If I had to pick just one as my favorite, I could not choose as there are so many good ones out there. So I will not even try.
