The most cringe worthy scene on any Harry Potter film
The one with Nearly Headless Nick and all the house ghosts.
It's so cheesy and dumb I actually have to fast forward.

In Goblet of fire when Harry enters the tent at the Quidditch World Cup and says, with a stupid smile on his face:" I love magic." That makes me want to punch the TV.
"He drank. He fought. He made his ancestors proud!"
I've grown somewhat desensitized to a lot of the cheesiness from watching the series so often. Stuff like Harry's "I...can't be a-a wizard" in PS (that delivery, dear god) and his "Whoo hoo!" on the Buckbeak flight, all of that makes my eyes roll but also smile a bit from the nostalgia.
When Harry stabs the diary with the Basilisk Fang in CoS. His expression, Riddle's movements and screams, and the light bursting through his chest...I know it's supposed to be an intense scene, but it's so over the top and I laugh a little just thinking about it.
The Harry/Cho kiss in OoTP. Their arms are just lying at their sides, it looks kind of awkward.
Ginny feeding Harry the quiche or whatever it was in HBP. Oh god, I have to look away during that part. And the shoe tying.
I'm sure there are much more, I might update as I think of some.
I actually don't find the animal scene in PoA cringeworthy at all, I like it in fact. It's like a "welcome home" moment for Harry and to see him hang out with his friends doing something silly, well, I personally find it heartwarming.
The Harry Potter movies are quite terrible, regarding the younger actors.
ALTOBELLO YOU *beep*!!
GoF:
Hermione: Viktor's more of a physical being.
Harry: *Creepy old man expression* Mm-hmmm.
That whole scene actually. The way Hermione lunges to Harry's other side to get his attention.
"Annddd...*BAM* I'm scared for you."
There are only two for me:
1) WTF was that CGI piece-o'-crap we got instead of precious Moony? >_<
2) The entire movie of Goblet Of Fire. So NOT like the book ... AT ALL! It really should have been cut in two!
Right. OK. Who fckd with IMDb now? WOW!
for me, the most cringe worthy scene is at the end of deathly hallows part 1 when dobby gives the hokiest speech ever. you know.. Bellatrix screams how dare you take a witch's wand. how dare you defy your masters...then everyone stops to listen to dobby say, dobby has no masters. dobby is a free elf and he has come to save harry potter and his friends or something like that..seems so out of place. it might have worked in an earlier movie, but this one is dark all the way thru pretty much, then they throw in a very childish scene....gag. there are a lot of bad scenes in the movies, but I really hate this one.
shareCan't believe no one has mentioned it before but that scene with Harry in the tub with Moaning Myrtle in GoF takes the cake!
shareLooking back, I can think of very few scenes that aren't cheesy or hockey in some way (especially the earlier films where the kids clearly can't act).
There's a reason not a single one of these films ever won an Oscar for anything.
--Am I pissing you off yet?--
For me it was seeing the burrow go down..IT DOESNT even happen in the book!
Oh, also the whole sequence in book/movie 5 in the ministry of magic where they think they are saving Sirius, it was so well written in the book and then clunked along in the movie. Even the epic Voldemort/Dumbledore fight scene was meh. Could have been So much better
For me the most "cringe-worthy" thing is that people have and still do think it's clever and cute to use idiotic, unoriginal terms/wanna be memes like:
"cringe-worthy"
"X number of hours of my life I'll never get back"
"My bad"
"Peace out"
There's more but those are the stupidest.
I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!
