Muphy upset when Franklin died in , but he was gonna shoot him anyway i
I dont get that scene, Murphy seemed guttered when Franklin was shot and died on the Helicoptor, but wasnt his intentions to shoot him anyway like he did with the rest?

shareI believe he just got through with a massive firefight and of all things a huey helicopter came to pick him up. It looked like he had a flash back, sort of, to Vietnam. Franklin was yelling like a wounded solider might and his medic skills kicked in. You hear stories about training kicking in.
I think Murphy just decided after all the heat to waste his crew. He's a sociopath or psychopath. Really its just ruthless calculation. I get more money, dead men don't talk, and they won't be able to off me.
It was all done to SURPRISE the movie audience.
Movies like this one like to keep the audience guessing.
Murphy was loyal to the MAX up until the burial and then he becomes a totally different person for the rest of the film.
Courtney Cox's character flipped the same way. She was untrustworthy and then after establishing her that way to the audience, she flipped and she only wanted to be with Kurt's character Murphy and her son Jesse and be a family.
All of it was done to keep the audience guessing.
I was happy to see that Kurt's character stayed the same throughout the film.
As an example, Kurt's character Michael avoided shooting the casino guards by shooting the glass ceiling.
Evil-guy Murphy even told good-guy Michael that Michael always in a bad situation tried to do the right thing.
All in all, the movie was a 6/10 to this viewer.
