Did ANYONE think Cameron did good in this movie???

No I'm not saying she is the greatest Actress, because she's not to high on my list. But for an Actress whose movie credits doesn't contain the most highly thought of roles, I think she deserves some credit for this movie. She had to have a lot of pressure, I mean who wouldn't being in a Scorsese film. Anyway any thoughts or do you agree???

I just read that Sarah Polley was originally to be cast after Sarah Michelle Gellar dropped out (not unhappy about that), but Polley would have been so good in this role.

I liked her. It's annoying hearing again and again that Diaz was miscast or that they should have cut her out.

agreed.. she was good enough

Since when is “good enough” actually good enough?

People “settle” too easily. Life is short.

I thought Cameron was great considering it was a very different kind of role than what she usually does (romantic comedies).

Cameron did good for being so out of her element. She was really sexy too (her sexiest role besides the Mask.)

She wasn't the best choice for the role but she made it work.

I thought she did fine. It's probably one of my favorite roles for her, second to "Vanilla Sky" (didn't like the movie but I thought she was excellent in it). Personally, I liked all three leads (although Lewis is obviously the star of this film).

She actually surprised me. At first I rolled my eyes but she did okay. They could've got someone better but they could've done much worse.

Thought she did a great job. Never understood the hate.

I thought she was amazing. She can be quite under-rated, SOMETIMES. She can also suck, but I thought she was amazing in this.
