The best WWII movie ever made

This is my favourite and in my opinion the best WWII movie. Better than Saving Private Ryan, Pearl Harbor, Fury, Thin Red Line, Letters to Iwo Jima etc.

I'm partial to "12 O'clock High", "Saints and Soldiers" and "A Midnight Clear".

Not my favorite by a long shot. A film based on a novel that was based upon an urban legend. While the film did good in Russia, some veterans there were unhappy with it. https://www.rferl.org/a/1142398.html

"A group of Russian veterans has sent a letter to the Duma complaining that French director Jean-Jacques Annaud's "Enemy at the Gates" does not accurately reflect the fighting at Stalingrad, "

A film that used the title of a non-fiction book, but whose plot was actually based upon an urban legend written about in the novel "War of the Rats". I thought it was a fair film at best.

I didn't think it was that good. It wasn't very interesting. Definitely not the best WWII movie.

It's not even in the top 20, ffs.

I'd put it somewhere in the 20-25 range.

By your moniker, I see you're a supporter of Javier Milei. That's awesome!
