Weird comment. As others have said, French people speaking in French on a French film is strange for you? Maybe you shoudl take that window or stick to Hollywood pap.

Have you ever watched Mary Poppins? Worst of all is an American attempting a british accent. Absolutely no effort made.

reply

it's not French accent, it's french language lol
I hate French too, but I think the movie is more beautiful with this language, somehow!!!

reply

IT IS FRENCH ACCENT! I am from Québec and my french is nothing like people in France. And thank god, I don't really like their accents either. :)

For the film, Isabelle Nanty puts on a very strange accent which does not sound at all like her real accent. The other characters have typical, i'd say neutral, French accent.

OP, if you don't consider French to be the most beautiful language in the world... then you're either a woefully unintelligent person (mostly likely a patriotic American), or have absolutely no clue what REAL cinema is all about, period. So please, just get out of here and let us real film lovers pleasure ourselves to our beloved masterpiece.

And yes, I'm joking.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
