How did Teddy Bass KNOW that Don Logan never phoned from Heathrow?

I was just wondering. Remember how at the table scene where "Gal" tells "Teddy Bass" that Don Logan returned from Spain and phoned him from Heathrow, and then Teddy tells him "But he never phoned from Heathrow", HOW DID Teddy know that Don Logan never actually phoned from Heathrow airport? Did Teddy Bass like have all the phones bugged at Heathrow airport or checked through some kind of tele-communications device? Did he have friends who worked at Heathrow airport to check if Don Logan could've made phone calls from there?

Or did Teddy Bass just assume that he never phoned from Heathrow because he knows Don Logan (Ben Kingsley) would never use a phone from the airport? Anyone know? Thanks!

Teddy obviously has people keeping watch, as he knew that Don got on one plane and then got off again.

Teddy said it in the film. He knew that Don never phoned from Heathrow because Don wasn't on the plane. No intuition needed. Don was thrown off the plane and never made the flight.

That was so dumb of Gal. I mean why the hell would he say Don called him from London? It would be pretty easy to check with the airports..

Gal probably agreed with the others to leave story there at farewell when Don left in a cab they called.
So, as far as he's concerned, Don flew to Heathrow. Never returned.

Underworld figure like Teddy Bass can check with connections if re-entered the country… Airline data bases provide data, assuming open borders for EU passport control is bypassed. Or strong criminal mind hunch.
