your favorite songs from the show

I only started watching it a year ago, but mine are 'freakie outie' & 'if you were a car instead of a boy'. There are probably more that I can't remember.

Mr. Pants, hands down

Come on, no one's mentioned the Compliment song from History? That song had me rolling on the floor for 20 minutes! And McGurk's song from the play was pretty damn funny.

-Is this the Court of Miracles?
-Offhand, I'd say it's the court of ankle-deep sewage.

The wizard's baker song always manages to get stuck in my head, but I love it.

Electricity shoots from my finger-nails!

Anything from the Franz Kafka episode is brilliant!! God, I love all of those songs!!! But my all time favourite *must* be The Wizards Baker!

"With soft and pretty baker's hands....."

reply

I'd probably say Shannon's song from "Bye Bye Greasy" would be my favourite. And McGuirk's race song from the same would probably come in close second.

Of course there's much to be said for "Starboy" and "Mr Pants" and many others.

reply

don't stick marbles up your nose

reply

"And I'll race, and I'll race like I own this place, and I'll race the other racers..."

reply

the best song on home movies, in my opinion has to be the don't put marbles in your nose. and the one when the girl is all happy and talking about being friends, then kinda converts the song over to her singing about her ass

reply

btw does anyone possibly know where to get any song mp3's? because damn that'd be great to see... or listen to

My god, know ones mentioned the theme song yet!! I always get excited in the beginning of an episode just hearing the first few chords, you know what I mean. Crazy Legs is hilarious too.

reply

Brendon Small has some on his site.

reply

Buy Season 4. It comes with a 52-song CD.

reply

AND I'LL RACE!
TO FEEL THE WIND IN MY FACE!
(best song. hands down)

Taste the Fame

reply

the Ballad of King Arthur and Robin Hood is my absolute favorite
followed by Mr. Pants
all of Timmy, the Wizard's Baker, and Kafka are excellent
the Sensitivitey Song is hilarious (though the best part is the look on Walter and Perry's faces when it finishes)
Trust Yourself and the Compliment song are also great.
The show just has great music.

Don't put marbles in your nose.

reply

I love the compliment song.

And the rice song:

"Rice is nice, but it's just a grain
I like rice, so I'm not insane."

I guess I like that one so much because my aunt always used to say "Rice is nice" whenever we would be eating rice.

reply

i dunno if this was mentioned before, cuz i skipped through the biggest part of this thread.....
But i think the "dont put marbles in your nose"song sounds alot like that old group Green Jelly.....anyone else think so....
