your favorite songs from the show

I only started watching it a year ago, but mine are 'freakie outie' & 'if you were a car instead of a boy'. There are probably more that I can't remember.

DON'T put marbles IN your noseDON'T put marbles, inyournoseDON'T—I love that song, and that song when Brendon and his dad and Laura are walking through the zoo. And the jazz fight!

I'm gonna punch his butt!

and

Rice is nice.

I make a point to turn the volume off when the music starts. Love the show, but I really don't care for the music.

We've met before, haven't we?

reply

You should be ashamed of yourself.

I love the Internet.

I'm the roughest toughest kitty in the land
My name is Mr Pants I'm the kitty kat man
Nobody's gonna stop me from having my way
My Name is Mr Pants and have a nice day!

reply

YES! Mr. Pants. Best rock-out song on the whole show. I loop it on the CD. ;)

Either of the two songs about manipulating people to do what you want, especially when the background music stops and Jason and Brendon are making kitty noises. It's even better when each one starts making up the words. Songs are hard to improvise.

i heart love "don't kill children," "livin like a bug ain't easy" and the song that brendon melissa and jason sing on the way to the rennesaince fair.

"Franz Kafka", "Wizard's Baker", and "Don't Put Marbles In Your Nose".

I honeslty love all the music Brendon Small writes, but those are the songs I catxch myself singing at my desk at work or walking around. I think it's pretty funny, given all the music I listen to, and all the genres, I choose to sing "I'm a wizard, wizard - a wizard, wizard - a wizard man!..."

I laughed my ass off at the "Sensitivity song"
Here is a rough draft of the song for those of you who don't remember it or haven't heard it.

"I watched a caterpiller change into a butterfly today...

You can throw rocks from your house of glass
aint no skin off of my ass, ain't no skin off of my ass..

People, don't look at each other as black and white, look at each other as light and dark.
Be sensitive

And you can throw rocks from your house of glass! Ain't no skin off my ass!

My sweet ass, my sweet ass, my sweet ass! I love my ass!

My sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet ass.
My sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet sweet asssssssssss..."

reply

Heh heh, "Freaky Outtie!"

Seriously, tho, I love all the songs from "Bye Bye Greasy", especially the one sung by the little stage-fright girl for her audition.

Oh! Can't forget "Watch It Again", McGuirk's off-the-cuff blues from "Psychodelicate."

rabbit troop suuuuuuucks . . .

plus 'camp campington falls' - 'taste the laughter, taste the fame'

'king arthur and robin hood' is cool, and dwayne's guitarmaggedon solo is quality, and i laugh every time the girl starts screaming 'my sweet ass' at sensitivity training

altogether though, i'd have to give it to pretty much all the songs in 'franz kafka : the musical'

though 'rabbit troop sucks' is a close second. and, yes, i know it's tmbg and not brendan small, so it might not count for some of you, but it does for me, because i haven't been able to get it out of my head since it first aired.
