what is one of your favorite moments in the series?

The whole show is funny but one of my favorite moments is the guy dancing in the apartment. The phone starts ringing and hears all the little noises and it sounds like music to him. Hysterical

The first rule of robot club is you do not talk about robot club. The second rule of robot club is you do not talk... no wait I've got that wrong... no smoking!

The ramble leader had to dive in and rescue me from beneath the canoe......that whole scene is genius.

The matrix scene where Tim, Mike, and Tyres enter the building and Mike starts to shooting up the whole first floor.

The look on mike's face was so funny after the matrix shoot-em-up fantasy.

There's so many brilliant parts of this show.

The bit with Twist talking on the phone with Brian....Don't forget to wash your sheets...and your penis.

Tim's reaction to being fired has me cracking up every single time!

The first episode of season two, when they show Marsha pouring wine into Colin's water dish, the way that Colin shakes his head when she offers him a cigarette was so unbelievably adorable. That's one of the coolest dogs ever.

I love the closeup on Mike during the clubbing eppy when the A-team remix first kicks in. It was pretty much the exact opposite way Mike intended on being the "big man". He looked so ridiculous and happy, I love it!

Fetch me my tools.

I'd have to second the eskimo roll/right inuit scene...Nick is a master.

Nick was so good in this show, I'm seriously considering changing my signature to I shot the cat up the a55hole.

Ok, I'll leave some for you guys to talk about lol.

Tim's dream sequence that opens up the second episode. He wakes up, it's very bright and Sarah is standing in the kitchen as though they never split.
Then Tim's comic store costume suddenly comes to life, grabs him and drags him away.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Sixth Sense parody with Tim and Mike stuck sitting in Mike's van in a traffic jam.

Tim: Come on! What is the holdup?
Mike: There's been an accident. Somebody got hurt.
Tim: Who?
Mike: A lady.
Tim: How do you know?
Mike: Because we hit her.
Tim: Did we?
Mike: Yeah, that's her there.

Oh, and then there's also the Pulp Fiction sequence with Daisy finding Mike's gun on the counter when she comes back from Asia. And of course Mike's big "death" scene from the paintball episode. The part where he starts coughing up yellow paint practically had me in tears. :)

the Sixth Sense parody

I watched that scene like a dozen times before realizing the "lady" was Olivia Williams.

That scene would've only been topped by getting Gillian Anderson to do the "Scully" (deleted) scene.

Do you think I should lose the waistcoat?

I think you should BURN the waistcoat, cause if you lose it, you might find it again.

Transvestites are men who eat, drink and be Mary

reply

^ Haha, yes! Exactly what I was going to say. My wife and I still quote that years later

"... if you lose it, you might find it again."

That and:

*Tim answers phone:
"Brian? No, he's the wierdo downstairs. Oh, sorry Brian, yeah come on up"

Anyway, this cake is great. It's so delicious and moist.

I love the whole Resident Evil parody, just watched it this weekend and had to dust off my old Resident Evil II game and start playing cause I recognized the scenes from the game in the show. The fact that they even had the R.E. music over the credits made me giggle.

I also have to go with the club dance/telephone thing. Good choice Matt!

Finally the scene (quick cut) when Tim is saying his step father was very good to him and then they have a flashback a ala The Shining where he is in a hedgemaze chasing him as a child with a axe (forgot which episode but it was really really funny)

I love the way the music from Resi Evil 2 was used to such great effect in Art. When Daisy is upset about the rejection letters, the music is perfect for her mood.

It's those little things make this show so bloody great!

Tim clutching Mike after he was hit with a paintball, I was rolling over laughing when he coughed up paint. I had to watch that scene a few times before continuing on with the episode.

"MEDIC!!"

Yep great scene. Actually pretty much every scene is brilliant in this work of pure genius.

reply

That episode is brilliant. Probably the best televisual thing ever made on the Ecstasy/Clubbing scene.

The biggest laugh for me came from an argument between Twist and Brian.

(paraphrasing)

Twist: I want to go out! All you ever wanna do is stay in and have sex. I want you to think of me as a whole!"
Brian: I DO!
Twist: No, a whole, with a "W"!
