Chris who? I couldn't care less what he says. The movie is entertainment, not a documentary.

I don't really get his criticism. Space Cowboys references in large part to the beginning of the space program. The very first astronauts were indeed wild, nigh maniacs, that were all test pilots, and not scientists.
