Probably the most underrated film in the last ten years?!
Whats everyones opinion on this topic. I saw this film a few years ago and watched it again last night. Such a class film, but yet it wasnt that hyped up! Seems surprising to me.

shareThe film is amazing!! And I completely agree with you.
shareOnly two movies have ever given me chills, this one and Field of Dreams.
The best part of this movie is that even though you know it's totally unrealistic but you can't help but totally believe that what happens is possible, or maybe you just wish it was possible.
And it's pure magic when they are conversing on the ham radio.
One of my all time favorites. I don't think any other film dealing with past/present time connections has been done as cleverly as this. Towards the end when the son is fighting the killer while at the same time, over the ham radio, in the past his father is fighting the killer....astonishing. And the way the fights end....wow. The only reason it might not get higher ratings is because it can be a bit confusing the first time you see it.
shareI wanna thank you guys cuz this was on demand and I would've usually just skipped by it. But by chance I saw this post and it lived up to the hype. Awesome film
shareNever heard of this movie at all and then it just came on the tv one night while I was in Vegas. I started watching it but had to make a show right in between the movie. I could only watch the first half, but when I got back home I found it at Walmart and bought it. I don't know if it was the anticipation of wanting to watch how it ended or what, but was well worth waiting for and easily one of my most favorite movies of all time.
shareYep.
Caviezel carries this film.
I agree. I watched it recently and have had to watch it several times more because it is just so incredibly good. It is certainly one of my favorites now.
shareLast week some Notre Dame law prof blogged about it being one of her favorite holiday movies. First time I had even heard of it.
Weird thing is I watched a lot of movies in Y2K. Probably moreso than any other year than any other in my life. Yet this one wasn't anywhere near my radar. Was it a limited release or something?
It actually is really good. High School and Junior High me would have raved endlessly about it, and Adult me just loves how well done it is.
