What's the most cold hearted joke the show has done?

For me, it's the Terry Schiavo song at the play The Griffins go to see. I admit I pretty much hate cancer jokes or most jokes about tragedies anyway, but they're not in every single episode and I usually just go 'Tsk' and forget about them in 5 seconds. But the Terry Schiavo thing I found really disturbing and heartless. Even more so when the Schiavo family said they'd seen it and were horrified over it.... that was the day I thought, 'As much as I like and respect Seth MacFarlane, he really should be totally ashamed of himself right now.' It's pretty much the only scene in Family Guy I refuse to watch and have to fast forward or mute it. It just feels wrong and disrespectful to the Schiavo family to watch it. Really went way too far with that one, I felt. A quick joke I can forgive but that was just tasteless. And no, I'm not a 'hater' although I hate that word in fact lol, I'm one of the shows biggest fans. I actually don't mind the Michael J. Fox jokes and they always make me smile because I know Fox is the type of awesome guy who would laugh at them himself. How people can even mention the religious or Jesus jokes in here is beyond me. Must be religious themselves. I love the religious jokes as religion to be fair, asks for it and deserves to be mocked. I find myself agreeing with most of the jokes despite how exaggerated they may be.

I find the eating disorder jokes a little hard to swallow (pun intended) because I have anorexia myself, but I usually don't let it bother me and can laugh about it later. Nothing really offends me though - I can take it with a grain of salt.

The episode where Lois made out with Meg's boyfriend was a little much for me altogether. Theres been some dark episodes but I felt so bad for Meg in that one.

The joke where he made fun of people with cancer who cover their bald heads with bandanas. The punch line was: "Ohh, nobody can notice you're bald with that covering your head." Really tasteless and unfunny. Tgey make a lot of observations and judgements, and think that everyone else sees it the same. Nobody thinks cancer patients are trying to dupe someone into thinking they arent bald, or dont have cancer.

Where a woman is being raped on the beach and Aquaman or whomever says she probably deserved it

"Prom Night Dumpster Baby" was probably the worst one that I laughed at, especially when they started twirling their umbilicals like canes.

I think you exaggerate how horrible rape is. It's not that horrible, it's wrong but not such a horrible experience.

The mind has a way of making it palatable when it happens. Don't delude yourself.

The Elizabeth Smart joke, hands down.
