Did any guy tear up during this film?
I did.
shareA tear or two every time...
So I'm not a guy, but I didn't cry at all during this movie, and I usually cry pretty easily at movies. Do I have to be a guy who has a brother to really get it?
I only do it with superheroes.
Of course. Just because we're supposed to repress emotions doesn't mean we don't have them.
shareI just skipped the entire thread so I apologize if I am repeating anyone.
The diner scene where he describes the war situation. I rewound that many a time and teared up just the same.
Yep, when Lyle saw Alvin's form of transport I teared up when he teared up.
shareRichard Farnsworth gives an incredible performance in this. The scene that made me tear up was when he described his daughter losing her children. The ending also is incredible. It's such a great movie. A true character study. Nothing fancy or groundbreaking but it's better than 99% of the crap hollywood pumps out these days.
shareMany times!
I got news for 'em. There's gonna be hell to pay. 'Cause I ain't Daddy's little boy no more.
