I hate the fat Carrie seasons

I dunno what it is, Leah just doesn't seem as funny after shes had a baby and gained a ton of weight, plus the main perk of watching the show besides the good writing was looking at Leah's great body, once that was gone the show went downhill imo.

And it was always weird when they'd have a flashback episode of Doug and Carrie younger before they was married or just after they was married and Leah was fat and old. Probably shouldn't' do flashback scenes when the actor is much older and bigger than they was around that time of the flashback scene.

And she became more meaner and abusiver too I found.

reply

Yeah thats true, does seem like as she got older and fatter she got more bitter and abusive.

reply

She was just on him more and more about his job and making more money and youre not good enough for me and I want to move to Manhatten and its your fault I am just a legal secratary casue I should have married someone else. She also cut him off many times from Shimmy Shamm and flirted with Deacon more. She ate the hole holiday log just to get fatter

reply

She did snap back in season 8 I think though.

In what way

reply

By losing the fat lol. I actually didn't mind fat Carrie, the gag where she was trying to fit into her jeans was pretty darn funny.

reply

Yeah she did lose some of the weight near the end of the show.

🤔

It seemed the actress was embarassed about how she looked and didn't portray Carrie well during that time. Whoever did her wardrobe certainly didn't help. When Kevin James got fatter, his acting skills went down as well. I just skip over those episodes and enjoy the good times.

reply

She got lean again after the fat seasons.

It’s more to do with the writing.

In the earlier seasons, Carrie was more relaxed and chill.

In later seasons, she became more naggy and shouty.

This was done to balance out Doug becoming fatter and stupider as the show went along.
