JP3 is Better than Lost World
LW and this have several issues but I think JP3 is better. LW is way too long also.

The Lost World feels like it fits in Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park universe, even if it's half or quarter as good as the Lost World book.
Jurassic Park /// shows us a side of Isla Sorna we don't see in the Lost World, and it just doesn't add up, there's too much here that destroys continuity from The Lost World movie.
It's way better. I get bored watching TLW:JP, and can never finish it.

Not that its that great up to that point, but the final act is so lazily thrown together and tacked on I cant even finish the movie. I agree 3 is better than lost world. At least the tone, as jokey and silly as it may be, is consistent throughout...
shareI agree, JPIII is a far superior film, I rewatched TLW and III last week and was surprised by just how bad TLW truly is, despite that excellent trailer over the cliff scene, but then, the raptor attack scene in the field had me gasping for breath from laughter, lol.
I can understand if people don't like JPIII as it doesn't really take the science story any further (if that's what you're looking for) it's nothing but a straight-up extremely fun adventure, but it's never braindead (sure, there's a couple of dodgy effects lol)!
Jurassic World is sure to have more of a story, but I also hope that it's as fun as III!

If you thought the San Diego scene was ridiculous, than ALL of JP3 must be ridiculous. That film is a joke. Lost World at least takes itself more seriously, has a real undercurrent of dread, and a kickass John Williams soundtrack. Jurassic Park 3 has several good actors wasted, and Tea Leoni.

shareJP3 is better. LW is so Michael Bay'ish. The San Diego act is by far the worst of the entire series. Should've ended on island.
JP3 also has the tightest action, not least the Pterodactyl cage which is my fav sequence of the entire franchise.
