how old are fans?
I was just wondering how old fans of this movie are? whether you were the same age as the characters/older/younger?

share16 going on 17 - this is one of my favourite movies!
shareLoved it! Especially the opening scenes and the Indian video. I was about 60, I guess. I'm 63 now.
shareI was 19 and graduated high school the year I saw it. Ah! it's been 5 years since high school, and I still have one more year of college left. I should have been like Enid and never went.

46 - not quite the oldest person in this thread. I did enjoy this movie very much. Believe it or not I could still relate to Enid's pain and frustration.
It seems that the average age of respondents is around 18. If you liked this movie I might suggest "The Graduate". It was before even my time, but I could easily relate to it when I first saw it. It has similar themes of personal alienation, frustrations with what to do with your life, and the expectations of others.
I have 30 and I know what the character means when he says he can't relate to 99% of humans... LOL... I didn't like the way he ended... he was goinge so well with the girls then he was taking medicine like a lost case...
