I was just wondering how old fans of this movie are? whether you were the same age as the characters/older/younger?

I am 20 years old now and first saw this movie when I was 19.

I first saw the movie when it was out in theaters. I was 11 (but, in my opinion, far from a typical 11-year-old). It immediately became my favorite movie, and I saw it three times in theaters. I am now 22 and still adore the movie, but no longer rank it among my favorites.

My wife and I watch it every so often and simply love it. We're both in our mid sixties.

I'm 34. Not exactly a fan but I enjoyed the film a lot. Thought it was well written, directed and acted.

Hey, i didn't expect that there would be much young audience here! I am 27, i just watched it and i loved it! But i have already read the comic, it's been about 3-4 years ago... I think it is an adult movie as well, for reasons mentioned above... After all, we still remain kids in some deep part inside :)

42 here. I saw it for the first time when I was 34, in avi format ;).

The DVD wasn't available in my country so I got it from Amazon in 2008. I watch it from time to time.

I love this movie, it's full of details and rich characters. It's one of my all time favorites.

First time, I was probably 12-14 and I actually hated it, thought it was boring and didn't understand it. Watching it again for the second time at 23, I loved it.
