Please please please Nicole, you cannot act.

First of all, I am not a huge fan of Nicole Kidman. She 's done a lot of garbage. I would normally agree with a comment like this and never give it a second look. Out of all the Kidman films I've seen, this is her very best acting performance. She was awarded a golden globe wasn't she? In fact, solid performances from the entire cast. Heck, even the guy playing the dead guy!

i personally think her voice is decent, not amazing.
her acting on the other hand, your crazy.
shes brilliant.
come back and complain when youve starred in a whole mess of award winning films and after you get an oscar. she's an award winner because she deserves it.

If she couldn't act she would not be getting the parts she does. Maybe you are just no judge of acting and singing.

Nicole has put in a great performance in nearly every movie I have seen her act in , especially in this wonderful movie in which I thought she was superb , she is also quite brilliant in DOGVILLE

Also Jude Law & Rene Zellewegger were fantastic , and the rest of the cast did a tremendous job too

She is great actress and singer. Just has been it some bad movies in my opinion.

7 stars. Kidman didn't bother me at all, actually she did great in this movie. Zellweger on the other hand did bother me somewhat, the way she did her accent and the way she said some things. All in all it was a good movie, not great but still okay and worth watching.

Well, for me she wasn't the greates actress -specially if you see her in Far and Away-, but then, you can see The Others, and see that there has been some evolution. Yes, she's been given very similar roles, and maybe either her manager or herself decide not to take risky roles, but I believe that when a Hollywood movie is either an action movie, romantic comedy, or anything comercial, the expectations can't be very high. I mean, it's not Shakespearean theater in a film!

This are entertainment movies, and nothing but that. I used to think getting an Oscar meant something, but ever since Titanic got all those Oscars, I realized it's not really a parameter to judge whether an actor or movie is good. You take into account the Cannes Festival or BAFTA awards instead, and let Nicole alone -at least she's proved now that she wasn't only Tom Cruise's wife -unlike other actresses married with famous men, e.g.: Brigitte Nielsen, Syl Stallone.
