Not a religious guy at all. I can't believe no one mentioned this song but it's good that it's out of public consciousness.

"My Sweet Lord" - George Harrison

Also "All Things Must Pass" and "Hear Me Lord" all by George Harrison
Hell, maybe even "Presence of the Lord" by Blind Faith even with Clapton's out of place but enjoyable solo!

I can't think off the top of my head, any others that no one's said yet.

When I die, I don't want people crying over my death with some sad, unoriginal string music. I want celebration of my life;

"Stairway to Heaven"--Led Zeppelin

"Transatlanticism"--Death Cab for Cutie

"Wish You Were Here"--Pink Floyd

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow"--Israel Kamakawiwo'ol

That's all I can think of for now.

Current Favorite Song: "Trouble"--Cat Stevens

The Beatles - In My Life

The only one I could possibly want....says everything I would want said...

There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

For a more serious, heartbreaking funeral:
1. Amazing Grace, played on a bagpipe (when my coffin/urn is being laid down)
2. Mensch - Herbert Grönemeyer
