Is this show being forgotten?

This was the IT show for a long time. So huge. So talked about. Just like Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones and Walking Dead in their heydeys. But you don't hear about it anymore. It doesn't get brought up in discussions of legendary shows. It doesn't seem to resonate with younger audiences at all. What you think? Are you the only person in your social circle still carrying a torch for Sopranos?

It was around for a long time so I think there was some burnout esp. since after Adrianna died in season 5 the show really seemed to dip in quality. I didn't even watch season 6 after the first two episodes were so lackluster..I have seen a ton of clips that show the good parts of S6 though.
I also so an interview with the guy who played Bobby and they talked about how it was time to take a long break away from mob stories due to The Soprano's being so big and on for so long.

I'm the only person in my social circle who carries a torch for The Sopranos.
My social circle isn't very big, apparently.

Never saw it, probably never will, don't even care.

reply

Nobody cares about you not caring.

The fish cake guy again, who seemed to have a crush on me at one time. I hope he has got a life since then.

It is resurging.

It's been over four quite a while.

I just watched it for the first time the past couple months.

I always though it was way over rated.
Lots of slow moments and the action parts were kinda cheesy.

REAL fans will never forget this show. I for one, love this show and I believe it has become in its short history, timeless.

I read a slew of comments comparing Trump's recent phone call to the Sopranos, so it's definitely still in people's hearts.
