WORST MOVIE!!!! don't you think!!...if not why

this was the worst movie i have ever seen. i was very suprised with this movie. i knew it wasn't going to be amazingly spectacular but i thought it would be decent...at least two stars decent. especially with these 'A' list stars. boy was i wrong. first of all the acting was terrible. george clooney and his silly facial expressions and catherine zeta-jones trying to be sexy wiggling her butt every chance she got didn't help the plot. and how do jones and clooney get married so quickly. they don't even know each other and the next thing you know he kisses her after she visits him with her fiance, and says some cheesy line like 'your a fantastic woman.'i especially love the scene when jones gets married and clooney says something like 'if i know you then you will [predicts what she will do]...' How does he know her? From what past experiences???

The worst part was the beginning with geoffrey rush and his wife who is cheating on him. there was NOTHING funny. it was completely stupid and ridiculous, and not in a good way. Clooney and his sidekick who forced tears out every chance he could get did not help this terrible movie which had no point to it. honestly what was the point? there was no point. enough said. Oh, yes and one more thing: the almost dying boss. That was so random and dumb. you couldn't even understand what the man was saying half of the time and the scenes with him in it only make you shake your head more and more. this movie was the worst movie i have ever *emphasis on ever* seen. maybe i will go do something productive since i have just wasted 2 hours of my life.

Not exactly the WORST movie, but really p-r-e-d-i-c-t-a-b-l-e and b-o-r-i-n-g. No surprises, some jokes, but nothing close to being worth almost 2 hours of watching.

Well, I liked it. And why not?

Well, 2 stars may mean different things to different people.

I didn't get into this film expecting anything great but I really liked the movie - the twist was nice, the acting (other than at times when Clooney was overdoing the "teeth" part) was nice, in my opinion and good enough for a comic movie.

I generally like a movie based on its story and performances - I found both to be nice here.

It seems inconceivable that Coens could make a movie as appallingly bad as this. It´s slight and shallow and predictable; nothing works, least of all the jokes (The Wheezing Joe and the Baron are almost painful to watch as they´re working so-so hard to get a laugh yet nothing funny emerges). Feels almost like someone trying to imitate Coens rather than the real thing. It´s bizarre.

not the worst movie for me.

definitely, the worst of Coens. but in one way, this film is useful. when i think "what's the worst (or "least good") film of Coens?", i easily find the answer: Intolerable Cruelty!

i dont think it's totally garbage. it has some "messages" about law and love, and etc... but overall it's a below-average film.

I agree with your post. I've been avoiding this movie for years because people kept saying how bad it was. Finally watched it this morning. Don't know that I'll ever trust those people again.

What I fail to understand is, why so many bashers???

Personally I loved this movie and could watch it over and over again without getting bored - whatever the haters out there are saying.

Only thing that sucked in my opinion was the title. 'Sitting Duck' would have been much better.

OP is a moron. Enough said.
