<<I think this is clever humor, and if you enjoy movies like "Scary movie" or "american pie" so much, you can find this one boring, but is because you don't understand it. You're not going to tell me that the dialogs aren't great and fun... if you don't get them... what can I say?>>
Your patronising comments are so cliche. I love quirky, clever humour, but find tis film to be one unfunny mess. It's a shame because it had the potential to be a fabulously dark screwball comedy, but fails on just about every count, IMO.
The twisty bit where the CZJ character cons the Clooney character is the only time I managed to raise half a chuckle and it made me realise what a good film this could have been.
Clooney tried his best and came off fairly well. CZJ, however, is simply a charisma-free zone. I loved her in Chicago, she was fantastic in that part, but away from those all-singing, all-dancing roles, her star simply fails to shine. She and Clooney had zero chemistry.
