TheMan as a 'name' makes no sense

Yeah, I know some people love numbers. I have a number in my name out of pragmatic necessity, not for any other reason.

What kind of a childish identity is 'the man' anyway? It's an overly-worn cliché based on a false identity that makes people worship temporary attributes and cling to them as some kid of 'identity'.

No one is a 'man', no one is an 'american', and so on, because we're all human beings as our eternal identity, everything else being temporary and short-lived.

Also, making yourself 'THE' anything only screams of your inability to withstand your own smallness, and calling yourself 'the man' just makes me shake my head, as it only conjures up imagery of a kid pounding his chest trying to appear 'manly' so he would seem valuable in some way, discarding their own humanity in the process.

In any case, if you want to say 'TO', do not use the number 'two', because it has a completely different meaning. If you have something TO say TO me (still not '2 say 2 me'), you can reply to my posts or whatever, I do not read posts dedicated to trying to vomit illogical verbal waste into my face.

I also rather talk about the movies in these boards that are created for the reason of, you know, talking about MOVIES, and not debate personal stuff, unless someone is being really idiotic about it, makes 'american typos' or attacks me personally, etc.

Let's keep it civil and talk about the movies.. even if they do not make sense (or especially because - I am convinced it's POSSIBLE to make a movie that makes sense, but I haven't seen one yet)

I come from Russia but live in UK by the way and I am not at all American, and I couldn't think much in terms of what username to pick but it doesn't have any larger meaning to it or a desire to come across as this and that, more than what I really am,.

And I am not attacking you in any sense either. Or trying, to quote - "vomit illogical verbal waste into my face" (is everything YOU say entirely logical or you THINK it is)?

And with regards to "2" instead of "to" - its just a fun internet type of you know communication and I've seen it plenty of times before, no need to get too uptight.

You're thinking WAY too much here and reading WAY too much into what's below the surface when there's nothing really there.

You take yourself way too seriously whilst still unable to escape moments of silliness judging by a lot of your "makes no sense" posts and this isn't an attack or criticism just how I see it. Makes sense, lol. :)

Me? And hey, we don't exactly, you know, love each other, and no offense to anyone, but I am more or less straight haha, and I didn't quite start THIS thread but no offense to the OP either. And I like to think there is a lot more GENERAL and OBJECTIVE interaction here around this stuff especially MOVIES than deeply or otherwise PERSONAL ones - if you get my meaning sir Miguel.

And Avortac4 maybe a she or a he, though I think they're a he but anyways...

Besides, it was avortac4 that made a huge SUCCESSION (and a SUCCESS too) of threads over possibly at least 4 years about stuff in movies "That make no sense", its almost LEGENDARY, and even HERE they were quite POPULAR as well, with some even titles like "Beer don't make sense" and "Women make no sense" that are, in spite of potential or even official unpopularity, legends in theory at least, and with LONG paragraphs and like big SERIOUSNESS about life's meaning or meaninglessness that like TOUCHES on people EMOTIONALLY most of all the OP himself, so I simply HAD to get on the wave, on line (not just on line as in internet wise but on THEIR line) and COMMENT and get involved and stuff...

Hell yeah.

I am still one day looking forward to avortac4 seeing some if not all of those films (at least a few of them are hard to find these days as they never had a wide release) I've mentioned in one of my threads over here to them and commenting on stuff in them that "makes no sense", especially with some David Lynch films, they would have a FIELD DAY, literally, but then again, in HIS movies, a lot of stuff is either intentionally ambiguous, intentionally confusing, dreamy, metaphorical or an odd combination of thereof, and so more or less is for stuff in those OTHER movies. Luis Bunuel ones also. And others. :)
