Can honestly say that i have never met a person who said they did not like this movie. For me it is in my top five movies of all times and will remember this movie for a long time!! So, who doesnt like it?
shareI haven't met one either. I wanted to make a joke that this movie is like lasagna. But that only works for the Swedish voice over for this movie. In that one Donkey says that not everyone likes onions but that everyone likes lasagna and that one has layers too.
But I think he says something different in the original?

A lot of adults...that don't watch kids characters in their 20s-90s.

I've never met anyone in real life who doesn't like Shrek either. Mostly just Shrek 1 and 2 though. I wasn't even aware of the sequels other than Shrek 2. Even my friends who didn't usually watch English movies loved Shrek 2 (much to my surprise).

Sorry we have never had the pleasure of meeting, I tend to bring smiles to all who come across me. But yeah, I've never cared for Shrek. The movie itself is okay, but the humor is just not funny. Either the jokes aren't really there or they're too juvenile and stupid. I think this film was meant for it's time only as an answer to all the bright fantasy films of the 90s. It has no real place in animation now.
