Which is worse? Episode I or II?
Episode II in my opinion. It's just so creepy!!
shareEpisode II is by far the worst. At least Episode I had the pod race and the lightsaber face-off with Darth Maul working in its favor. There was really nothing terribly memorable or iconic in this one.
shareI thought Clones was far better; I liked Phantom Menace as well, but it suffered a lot because of Jar Jar Binks (who thankfully was kept to a minimum in II). II also had some great underrated scenes in it (Obi Wan facing off against Jango Fett on Kamino, the battle between the Separatists and the Jedi in the arena, and Yoda vs. Dooku). Also, I think Dooku was a much better villain in II (and Christopher Lee was great in the role).
"Martyr me for Cordis Die."
I prefer I to II.

Clones is the worse one, and the abyss of the Star Wars franchise. It's one of the very few films I recognized was plain awful even when I was a child.
shareI prefer II if I'm gonna watch one of them, because I like the Obi Wan/Jango Fett fight, and the arena battle, Yoda/Dooku fight...but holy moley is it talky without really being dramatically effective. Phantom Menace does have some better action and interesting sets off the bat but Jar Jar and kid Anakin kind of take it down for me.

Episode II is far worse then The Phantom Menace in my opinion, simply for the fact that it's badly written, edited and some bad photography.

They are both horrible in different ways. The weak dialog is common to all the prequels. They all have scenes designed for video games, which is sickening. But, between I and II Anakin is a horrible character for different reasons. It's hard to say which is worse.
shareEpisode II is the worst Star Wars movie ever, not only compared to Ep.I. The love story is awkward, and they are one of the worst movie couples, no chemistry at all.
shareI also think back to the scene at the Naboo waterfalls where Anakin reveals his true self about making the Republic more like a dictatorship (an Empire) and everyone follows what Palpatine says or does, instead of debating Anakin or questioning why he would ever want that, Padme just laughs if off and says "you're making fun of me."
Shmi going missing for a month and being kept alive by sand people is ridiculous. The timing is insane. Anakin hasn't seen his mother for a decade and they choose at that point to kidnap her, why? Also, Shmi would have had renewed energy to survive, not just die at the sight of seeing Anakin.
This also begs the question, why didn't Obi-Wan and Anakin return to Tatooine in the days, weeks, months AFTER Phantom Menace and pay Watto for Shmi's release to the Republic? So stupid. It just shows how much you actually care for her, Anakin.
Later on when Anakin slaughters sand people, women & children, Padme looks distraught, but she continues to fall in love with this confused teenage pervert. Padme also not telling Obi-Wan or the Jedi what Anakin has done is also wacked out.
Yeah, their entire love story is way too rushed and I still don't find it believable. AOTC, though having brilliant Kamino scenes and a nice view of Coruscant, is the weakest Star Wars film.

Attack of the Clones. Yep!
