Noah Newman

Him getting killed is the worst part of the movie for me. I loved this character, and when lousy Downey Jr. kills him, it ruins the movie for me a bit. Plus, every time I watch The Fugitive now, I know Newman dies in the sequel, and it ruins The Fugitive for me too a little. Why couldn't they have killed the mustachioed cop, or Joe Pantialino's(sp) character, or the black lady cop?? I don't care about them.

You sound like a child! It's just a movie. Grow up!

Pantoliano was supposed to die in The Fugitive when he's hit with the girder but he begged the director to change it just in case there was a sequel.

Harrison Ford said to him "There won't be a sequel because I won't be doing one".

Pantoliano replies "Fine, we'll just find another 20 million dollar asshole to chase around", and Ford laughs his nuts off😂

Much better that Cosmo Renfro survived, he was too likeable and we didn’t need Dr Nichols to re-prove himself to be an evil scumbag.

I don't think Newman getting shot ruins the movie, quite the opposite. It elevates it. I naturally felt bad for him dying but actually I felt worse when Gerard in his anger after Newman's death tells Renfro "I'm not your friend".

Tom Wood has had a rough ride.

Fugitive director Andrew Davis killed him off in Under Siege. He probably felt great when he survived The Fugitive, especially after his near-miss during the ‘I don’t bargain’ scene.

…then he comes back for the sequel and he’s dead.
