Everybody still believe the landing on Normandy actually happened?

It's been disproven countless of times by credible scholars. Not sure why we, as Americans, continue to perpetuate that myth. Then again, we are largely a populace who lies to their children about a bearded, benevolent gift bringer. But while most adults don't believe in Kris Kringle, they have continually trusted the lie of "D-Day" for 70+ years, and they show no signs of stopping despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
England and Canada (Sword, Gold and Ellen Page) have largely come to grips with the idea that the allied invasion was total bupkis, why can't we!?

Ah...good old Aids Giver! I wonder what happened to him (apart of dying from aids)?

reply

Never heard anyone say this before.

reply

Me either. It is interesting to hear. Tolling or not.

reply

Yea, sure. WW2 never happened.

I respectfully post this link. This is from the BBC (obviously one of those "other" countries who say that "it didn't happen"

There's a conspiracy theory for everything, eh?

The astonishing thing, at this point, is that:
1) The obvious wind-up drew so much response.
2) It is no longer possible to be sure it was a wind-up. I mean in a world where the flat-Earthers propagate and reality becomes less certain in the face of deep fakery and alternative facts...

reply

Well, it's certainly true that the Americans caused the war by supplying Germany with its weaponry and all its hardware.

reply

No, that is certainly not true (or you are joking).
