Anyone else find Charlie and his girlfriend to be completely unbelievable? Theres no way that hot ass girl would be with that dorky looking dude. He looks just as dorky and uncool as he did in Jumanji, yet in this he looks to be with one of the hottest girls in school.

It would have made more sense appearance-wise if the two boys were paired with the other girl.

Steve Miner wanted "geeks" (not the word he used) to be inspired to go after that hot GF. The film was aimed at young men, the fanbase back then.
