Did Salma deserve her Oscar nomination??
Many people think that Salma's nomination was a huge mistake, and there's people who believe thas was deserved what do you think?
shareWell, I think she deserved to win it. No question about the nomination.
I love Hours and I think Kidman was great in it but Salma was on screen for most of the film and I do believe that she won't get a more interesting role the one of Frida in the coming years.
So it's a shame she didn't get the Oscar, would have been well deserved.

I don't quite understand why the discussion of the quality of Hayek's acting in this movie is only being discussed in connection with the Oscars? Oscars have nothing to do with talent.
As far as Salma's acting in this movie goes - it's as always, nothing special, no sparkles. I find her a bit boring to watch...
