They should BAN future tourist sub excursions to the Titanic wreck


After all, it is technically a graveyard, and as of now, the risk is too great of another tragedy like this happening.

This is an area where POV drones make much more sense.

Even space is more forgiving. And there’s much more to see.

Going to Titanic is 5 hours of nothing, followed by a few minutes of looking out a 6” window into the dark. Due to the high pressure there is absolutely zero room for error. Even in space there is time to respond to catastrophic events. See Apollo 13.

Perhaps the new Apple goggles can be combined with the new 3d scan of Titanic to create a virtual trip to Titanic.

The memory of this tragedy will live on with people for some time now and those who can afford such excursions will think twice before signing up.
