Um, are you aware of just how cold it was on the North Atlantic in April of 1912? There's a reason everyone was wearing long coats when the ship was sinking.

Nobody stayed indoors. This is the thing I couldn't stand about the movie, the ridiculous artistic license.

Someone people were trapped behind gates and couldn't get out.

Others didn't want to leave their male families behind.

Mr. Andrews was so depressed about not building a stronger ship that he just stood in the kitchen staring at the clock.
