I can't believe the low rating this movie has. I was quite honestly blown away by the acting talent displayed by the girls, in particular Posh Spice.
This movie is a must for everyone, so watch it any way you can.
I won't say this movie is the greatest movie ever made, but it is enjoyable and fun to a certain degree. One could not expect something more complex than a light, fun movie that was marketed for the Spice Girl fans, or rather say tween girls. If this movie could have excluded some of the tasteless jokes (a out of place rain in a office, the aliens and some of the ), this movie could have been more compelling.
However, I really enjoyed this movie when I saw it theatrically when I was thirteen. I saw it randomly again when I was nineteen or twenty and I hated it. I saw it recently again and I enjoyed it more (particularly because of Emma).
I watched it last week for the first time (it was only £5 in HMV) and although as a film it was not much good, there were a few decent scenes and it reminded me just how attractive Mel B, Emma and Victoria were back then, Victoria had curves instead of angles.
shareI know you guys are all being sarcastic...well most of you, and yeah I wouldn't give it such a low rating, solely because I saw it for the first time when I was 6. Nostalgia has earned this film a 5 star rating baby!

I concur Thunder, at the time it was released people did not realize how great this movie was, but more than a decade later only now have people realized how great this movie is, and changed our society for the better.
