Greatest movie ever made?

I can't believe the low rating this movie has. I was quite honestly blown away by the acting talent displayed by the girls, in particular Posh Spice.

This movie is a must for everyone, so watch it any way you can.

Maybe not the greates for me.. but it is a great fun.. im 21 and i watched this like ages ago and i still enjoy seeing them girls.. LOL.. Must see for every fan.. Best way to spend your time if you've got nothing pressing to do..

I wouldn't class this as one of the greatest movies of all time, and or would anyone involved in this project. They approached it just as it was - a fun film that would be an absolute breeze to make. In saying that, however, some of the best lines in the movie (in regards to what was written for the Spice Girls) went to Posh. I can't say i'm a fan of what she has become, but in this film, she definitely stood out!

Go take a step outside - see what's shaking in the real world.

All these facetious comments are annoying the hell out of me.

We get it, you're cool enough to not like this movie. Good for you.

I just watched t for the first time in years, and I think it's horribly underrated. I laughed out loud a lot, and the songs are still insanely catchy, and it's just a fun movie-- exactly what it should be. I don't see how anyone could have actually watched this movie and not come away feeling something positive.

And the sarcastic comments are just dickish.

Do people still read this.......... Oh!
I really loved this movie in the 1990s :)
I was a total Spice Girl fan and I picked Spice World over Titanic any day :D

I didn't get a chance to see it until earlier this year, lol...it's on youtube.

Frankly I like it because both Richard O'Brien and Alan Cumming are in it.
That makes me happy :D.

Also, the Spice Girls make me laugh in this movie.

I really am flabbergasted that anyone found ANY redeemable features about this film. Don't get me wrong, every opinion is valid and each to their own I guess, but this film didn't even have a plot.

Usually I find it funny when films are that bad (like the mortal kombat films). Its so bad its laughable... so you're glad you watched it. This is the only film I've ever seen that I genuinely thought afterwards "wow, I'm never gonna get that time back again". Cliche, I know but its what I thought. Pure and unadulterated rubbish. No amount of nostalgia is worth that again.

I know. I know. The low rating is distressing indeed, when this masterpiece ought to be hailed as quite possibly the most significant film of all time! All five girls displayed a formidable acting prowess...I would single out Geri, Emma, and Mel C in particular.

I agree, I was saddened slightly by the low rating.

As a little boy, I got my mother to buy this movie for me. I believe she said, "Oh come on, you don't really want this, do you?" But yes, I got it. And I watched it over and over.

Now, over ten years later (I'm 20!), I still think about it.
Heck, last night my niece went into the hospital and I told my father not to tell her not to laugh because the baby would shoot out like a cannon ball.
