how old were you guys in 1996 when they started being popular?

i was 4,so i was in preschool

i remember me and all my preschool friends singing wannabe and having no clue what that meant

now i'm like,why do you have to get with my friend,to be my boyfriend

I was 10/11 when the Spice Girls became famous but I didn't get into them till around 1997.

I was six years old and the spice girls were my life at that time! I loved them, I still do! :)

I was about 2/3ish when I first started hearing them. Got the Spiceworld CD and Spice World VHS for my fourth birthday.

Still a fan to this day!

In 1996 I was 13.

As for the song Wannabe, "you gotta get with my friends", it means fan-wise.
