I was 10 and I absolutely loved them. I'm glad they're back for nostalgic reasons. Who can fault a good bit of fun, cheesy pop music? The Spice Girls were FUN. And anyone criticizing the artistic merits of this movie is daft. It's hardly Citizen Kane and anyone with half a brain surely realizes that. But it was enjoyable at the time and I'd watch it again even if it made me blush from the sheer cheesiness of it all.

I was 17, AND I'm a heterosexual male, does this make me unique?

I was 7 and I'm dutch so I just sang what I thought I heard. Which wasn't exactly the same thing as the real lyrics. Oh how I loved 'stop', I really had some great lyrics of my own to that ;).

Instead of singing 'you need less speed' (you know, near the end) I always sang 'lesbi'. I never really understood why exactly they were singing about lesbians though.

But I still love the Spice Girls!

I was 10 and in 4th grade when the Spice Girls came to the States. I thought they were soooo cool! Sporty and Baby Spice were definately my favorites...oh, the mid-to-late '90s...
