What did you rate ''Princess Mononoke'' (1997)?

imdb.com/title/tt0119698/ratings

We begin with one of the most bizarre and memorable creatures put on film, proceed to meet our noble hero, the villainess with a good heart and the heroine who hates her fellow man, along with a menagerie of strange and wonderful creatures, all fighting for control of the forest, which man is threatening to destroy. It's a marvelous movie: full of adventure, action, romance, charm and wonder.

I rated this movie 10/10. What did you rate it? What did you think of it?

It was amazingly brilliant and superbly imaginative to where it tantalizes your every sense, like most every Miyazaki does. The characters were excellently established, the whole story is beautifully done and the film itself was so interesting that I was entertained, mesmerized and astonished throughout the entire viewing at how wonderful it was. Miyazaki is a genius, and he does not disappoint with Princess Mononoke. A truly fantastic film. .

I've rated with 10/10 only a handful of movies (The Grave of the Fireflies being one of them).
To me 'Princess Mononoke' gets a solid 9/10 in my book.
This movie is a proof that you can create an intelligent, meaningful and at the same time exhilarating and highly entertaining animated movie for teens and adults alike. Disney, take a note!
