...apart from the Beverly Hill Cops obviously!
Did anyone else think the same??? I just think that this film had great action and actually saw a serious side to Eddie Murphy

Not his best, but my favourite. I love the scene with Korda in the jail.

Definitely one of his best roles. But his most brilliant performance by far is "Holy Man". Actually the only movie where I totally forget while watching that it's Murphy playing. Simply acting brilliance.

Ah......48hrs? Has one of the best villain characters ever. One of the grimmest cops ever. - And some of the loudest gun blasting I ever heard in a movie.

IMO 48hrs revolutionized action/comedy. I remember never hearing the word "convict" until I saw this movie.
