Uh.....no. In case your mother never told you, killing First Ladies during cancer treatment center openings is wrong!! A bad person who kills a good person in front of people who love and respect her just for money should never win.

I'm glad at least one person in this thread doesn't root for evil. What is wrong with people these days.

...while "first ladies" are as innocent as their husbands who rampage the globe in "peacemaking" missions, "capaigns against terrorism" and yadda-yadda...

What has always been wrong with people is that that they can't quite make heads or tails of what is ESSENTIALLY evil

Uh, no. I like Bruce Willis and he is the reason I watched this movie on Starz, but rooting for him as the Jackal is sick. It would be like rooting for Ariel Castro to get get away with what he did. (If you don't know who Ariel Castro is, then try Jodie Arias!)

He was so far ahead from everyone. Even the line "Cant protect his women" probably meant in general. It was a ridiculous epiphany how Declan catched up with him. He should've killed the First lady no problem. Maybe even the president, seeing how far ahead was from the authorities. I expected a prequel "The Jackal 1963: How I shot JFK" and blamed it on LHO.

lol, i wanted the jackal to win as well... when he was taking forever to shoot the first lady i was very annoyed, thinking "Just hurry up and press the damn button!!!"... but of course, the bad guys never win. :( lol

I didn't necisarilly want him to kill the First Lady, but it would have been nice to see Bruce Willis plug 7 or 8 shots into Gere's obnoxious face.

I wouldn't want to see the Jackal complete his mission. But on the other hand, it would've been cool to see him get away. Perhaps making an opportunity for a sequel......"The Jackal 2 : Bruce Willis Is Really Pissed Off!!"
