does any one know if someone dubbed for brad pitt? it didnt seem like his voice and it realy sounded authentic irish!
he plays a irish pikey in "snatch" so i guess its not dubbed

If you think Brad Pitt's accent is bad, check out Tommy Lee Jones in 'Blown Away'. Now, there's a woeful accent.
Brad's accent wasn't too bad, he'd hardly pass for a local but he does alright for an American.

Brad Pitt's accent was very believable imho. I have relatives who are from Belfast and he sounds eerily similar to them therefore, people who believe he can't do an Irish accent are talking rubbish.
To people saying it's a bad accent, Colin Farrell is Irish and Brad Pitt's character in the movie sounds almost exactly like Colin Farrell's real accent.

We hosted two young men from Northern Ireland and have now gone there to visit from America twice now, and the northern accent is different from Ireland proper. I think Pitt was spot on, and I think I speak from experience.
