Robin is supposed to be in his early 20s and Ivy is at least in her late 20s but possibly 30s given her status as an established botanist, which would require years of experience. So it’s kind of freaky when you think that the characters are supposed to be into one another, almost like someone falling in love with his babysitter.

He was I believe, about 24 in real life when he did Batman Forever, even though Dick in the comics, is usually depicted as being younger when first encountered Bruce Wayne and became Robin. Even though for instance, Burt Ward was playing a decidedly older Dick in the 1960s TV series with Adam West, he was still younger than Chris was when he first played the character. And there's that scene in the Batcave where Val Kilmer refers to him as a college student.
