Great Film . . . Completely overlooked!
This is one of the best/overlooked films in the last 10 years. I caught it on HBO about 4 years ago. Finally found the DVD and watch it all the time now. It is intelligent and intense!
shareI wouldn't say great but definitely underrated and all-round entertaining. I thought the final scene with the spider web was especially clever and creative, a perfect note to end on.
shareWas that scene trying to say that they might have switched places? Or does him not killing the spider prove he is still himself? I mean it would be pretty far fetched for them to have swapped places.
shareMy memory of that scene is a bit vague now but I do recall thinking it was a clever, ironic touch and it was just ambiguous enough to tease the imagination.
