How does the baby die? I just rewatched it and after the scene, there is never an explanation on how the baby died.

I was watching this movie years ago and nodded off. Just tired more then anything else. The part were she's screaming after finding her dead baby woke me up and I was pretty disorientated. Freaked me out a fair bit I must admit. Took me about 30 seconds till I realized it was coming from the TV.
