Hell yes I cried. When T-T died when she was getting ready to get her son back, and when Cleo died, tore me up!

So if you don't like the way I look, well, I just don't give a damn!

Cleo's death. Da*n. I get misty-eyed just thinking about it, and I've seen the film about a dozen times. HUGELY underrated masterpiece.

I was a mess, I cried during it, and at least thirty minutes after it ended. Ah! This movie tore me up.

I cried when 'Up Against the Night' started playing as Clio lit her last cigarette and broke down momentarily, knowing it was over for her.

I cry every time I watch this movie. I haven't seen it in a long time. I'm about to watch it right now though.

Did I cry? For these piece of *beep* criminals who robbed banks and killed people??????

Yeah. I did.

reply

Yes. The first time I saw this film, I was in the fourth grade and my cousin and I rented it. I cried afterwards and was actually scared to watch it for quite some time after. I had to get movies with Queen Latifah, Vivica Fox, and Jada Pinkett in them and watch them in order to prove to myself that these actresses were not REALLY dead.. haha.. I was a mess and felt so bad for them that I needed to see them in other films and tv shows in order to feel better. I didn't get the courage to watch "Set It Off" again until I was in high school and even then, I still cried, but I no longer felt scared and I understood that the actresses weren't really dead. They were just acting. =)

So let me get this straight...you were damn near a pre-teen and didn't understand the concept of acting????!!! WOOOOOOOOWWW!!!! Do yourself a favor and NEVER tell that story again.

It takes a village, man...it takes a village.

i saw this in the theater and was fighting back tears at Cleo's and TT's scene. at the very end when they started showing the flashbacks i had tears rolling down. but when my mom got the movie on video, i cried like a new born baby. especially when they all went their separate ways when they got in the tunnel. u just knew it was gonna end in the worst way. one of my favorite movies of all times. it still moves me every single time i see it.
